What is continuous insulation (CI)?
Insulation that runs unbroken across the outside of the studs, instead of sitting only between them. Wood studs leak heat; CI wraps them so the whole wall performs closer to its rated value.

Shear walls still get structural panels. Across the rest of the building, HB ONE now installs straight to the wood framing, which is about 80% of the wall surface, and removes another layer from the assembly.
